thanks but that's actually not my first egg but I just couldn't believe its smaller than a nickel
So It must be that hens first attempt I'm getting 3 eggs a day and I have 12 hens 22wks

It has many names, but one of them is "wind egg" I believe. Some folks call them fa*t eggs (but we're not supposed to use that word on here). They're so cute!!

Yep, wind egg, fart egg, rooster egg. Full of just the white, like the Egg Beaters.

Usually hens lay those when they are starting a molt or they need a rest from egg production, nice name to call them is wind eggs. I would have gotten my mouth washed out with soap growing up if I had called them the other name

can a hen molt at 22 wks I they just got their adult feathers.
