Chest infection?

Hi,
I have a silkie-polish cross cockerel who is around 8 months old. He is acting perfectly normal ie eating drinking pooping etc. However when he breaths it sounds like a wheeze/gurgling sound and was wondering is this a chest infection? And is there anything I can do to treat this?

Have you looked inside his beak for obstruction, canker or yellow pasty material?
Crop emptying overnight?

Yeah checked and there’s no obstruction and his crop is empty in the mornings. I’ve also been feeding him oil soaked bread just in case there was anything stuck to try and get it down.
