Hello, we just picked up 6 chicks last week and 1 was supposed to be a Salmon Faverolle. However, I'm not totally sure at this point. I'm trying to remember what other breeds they had there that would look like this one but can't think of any. So, I'm going to post some pictures and ask you guys if this truly is a SF. I don't see the extra toe or any fluffies around the feet like I would expect, but not sure if they just grow into that. I've been looking at pictures for a while and they don't seem to match up for the most part. They just came in on 3/28, so it would be just about a week old I would assume with delivery from the hatchery to the co-op.

I meant to say I'm thinking possibly a white leghorn? They weren't on my list of breeds I wanted, but seem fine I guess? The prototypical egg layer. Heavy production, which is nice, but not the friendliest and a bit loud. And for my subdivision with 2 kids, I'm hoping that won't be an issue. If it is, well, it won't be around anymore :)

If anyone cares to look, all the breeds that the hatchery carry are at the link below. I just don't remember what the co-op actually had in the tubs. They had quite a few. I've left a message to them to inquire so I can get a heads up.

Just realized there is a whole thread for breeds or genders. Oops. I'm new and apparently didn't notice that. I apologize. Feel free to move it if possible or I can repost.
