Salmon faverolle with no cheek fluff? Is it even a faverolle?

I ordered 15 chicks from hoovers. With all those chicks i got 1 salmon faverolle. That 1 salmon faverolle, who i bought for the SOLE PURPOSE of its cute cheeks! Has no cheek fluff. But has fluffy feet like a normal SF. WHY!? Is it just an overbred breed so it has a defect? Well, not a defect but you know. Is it not even a faverolle at all?

Her name is salmon. Do i need to make a new name now?

If I remember correctly mine started off like that, but I am rubbish at remembering, also I am thinking she might be a he with that dark colouring on the wings. don’t quote me tho, I am also rubbish at guessing genders to

Well i googled cochin chicks and the only one similar is the buff cochin, but my chick has brown on her wings so i dont think it is. She has salmon faverolle colors kinda?

Yes, mine turned out to be a rooster, but @Amer is absolutely right, yours does seem to be missing a couple of toes.

I’m wondering if yours is just more of a hatchery quality SF? This was my SF at the same age as yours. She grew up to have a very nice beard! Give it some time

Sadly mine is actaully a french wheatem maran, and im sure about that. But thankyou.
