Chick color question.

I have tried to find a "simple" color genetics calc. but no avail, I must be tired. It used to be here somewhere. What color chick will result in a BC marans Roo over RIR hens? How about a Cuckoo Marans Roo over RIR hens? I am hoping for a bit darker egg from my layer flock and want to experiment with this cross. Any ideas? HenZ

BC marans Roo over RIR hens?
Should produce all BC coloured fowl, therefore hatch down will be similar to BC with maybe a bit more reddish black in the down.
How about a Cuckoo Marans Roo over RIR hens?
If the Cuckoo is pure for barring, all chicks will be Cuckoo, hatch down will all be like a pure Cuckoo pullet,black with a small white head spot; if the Cuckoo is impure for barring,50% of the chicks will be as stated & 50% will be Black, hatch down will look like penguins.
