A day old chick I had became sicky and I noticed its eyes were matted shut, I seen this before in the past and that chick I put it out of its misery. With this one i put some cooking oil on tip of my finger and gently rubbed on the eyes and couple minutes later they opened. Now 24 hours later the chick is getting stronger. I'm hoping it will keep improving. Any ideals what was or is wrong with it?
