Looks like I won't be ordering Marans, but, God willing and the birds cooperate, I will be getting hatching eggs from the lady who bought my Blue Cuckoo Marans today -- in exchange for Blue Australorp hatching eggs.
That leaves about a dozen birds from Ideal. I'm toying with the idea of splitting it into two orders with the goal of not having similar-looking chicks of different breeds so I can tell them apart more easily.
