Chicken Breed Focus - Leghorn

Pics
I just had someone warn me away from Leghorns. He said that they are greedy and get so fat their legs break!. Has that happened to anyone else?

Never.

That might happen with Cornish cross meat birds, but never Leghorns. Leghorns eat very little.

He might have confused the two since both are white.

11 years old is pretty darn impressive. Good job for keeping her safe that long. Does she lay anymore?

Good roosters are possible in Leghorns...but they aren't known for it.

Hatch a great big bunch of them.... and pick a good one.
