Chicken died. </3 Chronic diarrhea. Mystery sickness?

There are four UC Davis labs in CA.

Out of curiosity, are these the only places where CA has these UC Davis labs?  I'm in So. California (Santa Clarita area -- Los Angeles County).  The San Bernadino office would be a couple hours away.

The only one in your area in San Bernadino, but they will let you use there FedEx account, so you could overnight poo samples instead.

Necropsies on chickens are free, so if you lose another, keep that in mind. Like others suggested, I'd worm the flock with something like Valbazen or Safeguard.

They have a small fee for tests, but necropsies with all the tests are free... go figure, lol.

Well, regardless, very good info to know! I would guess that if they didn't charge, they'd be receiving tons of poo - LOL! I may contact them about my one hen that has had watery poo for so long. Maybe they can test it to see if they can figure out what's going on.
