Chicken hawk.33 hatch along.

Should you put a heat lamp in with a setting hen?
Hi Everyone,
We have two setting hens in an unheated coop outside, and I had thought that none of the eggs would hatch since it's been so cold, but today we are hearing little peeps from a hatching egg. I'm wondering if I should put a heat lamp in the coop. Would it be too hot for the moms?
Thanks for your advice!
Sue

I,wouldn't.they pull the feathers from there breast to make shore the eggs are the right temp

I hatched 7 chicks in incubator, 11 days ago. I just brought mom in house. (not the real mom) She is sitting on these chicks first time. I will put her outside, with chicks, with lamp tomorrow.
