When I click on my city, it says "Group: y"

Does that mean there is a backyard chicken group in my area that I can join? How can I find it? I have been thinking of starting a local listserv for chicken enthusiasts in Oakland, because I didn't think there was one.

We'll have to find some Canadians to work on a Canadian Chicken LORE. I am afraid my foray into Canadian law was 10+ years ago, and limited to international accounting law.

I got a phone call from my mom today, telling me that they passed an ordinance in my home town to allow up to 4 hens in town! In fact, my old Social Studies teacher is the mayor, and he siged off on it!

I found the ordinance on the city website and submitted, but the news story is here:

I love it, he says that if people stretch the 4-hen limit a bit, "I’m sure not going to go over and count them."

GO BYC!!!!!!!! now i wish my city would give in to the thousands of us

being on BYC makes me feel like a Rebal and the government the Empire from Starwars!

BYC is the biggest part in the chicken movement and i'm glad to be a part of it!
