I don’t know for sure but 2 of them puff up at eachother quite a bit, they are bigger than the other ones and they have red combs already. I could be totally wrong I got them from my sons school hatch so the likelihood I feel like is a lot higher? How do you know you have some cockerels? It's a bit too early to say anything yet
Can you get pictures of their faces?I don’t know for sure but 2 of them puff up at eachother quite a bit, they are bigger than the other ones and they have red combs already. I could be totally wrong I got them from my sons school hatch so the likelihood I feel like is a lot higher?
Oh yeah I get that I meant it was a 50% chance with all of them whether they are cockerels or pullets with being hatched and not sexed, rather than a 90% chance of pullets at Wilco lol. These are the 2 that I think are cockerels. Can you get pictures of their faces?
The likelihood is the same no mater who hatches them. :]
I agree, they appear to be pullets at this point.Oh yeah I get that I meant it was a 50% chance with all of them whether they are cockerels or pullets with being hatched and not sexed, rather than a 90% chance of pullets at Wilco lol. These are the 2 that I think are cockerels.
Good to know they just seem very different from the other 3.I agree, they appear to be pullets at this point.
They will all have different attitudes, personalities, different stances, some will be taller than the others. Cockerels usually start growing combs and wattles early, some at 2 weeks, your chicks aren't showing big red combs or wattles. They are looking like pullets at this point.Good to know they just seem very different from the other 3.
