Wow, thanks!
Ok I've changed the name of this thread so it will be easy to find later as was suggested by one of our BYC folks here.

My wife and I started naming our girls after the first letter of the breed of chicken. We have eleven different breeds total. Later on we changed our way of naming. Here is the following names we have given our girls:

Buff Chantecler - Buttercup
Welsummer - Wendi
Delaware - Dixie
Speckled Sussex - Sadie
Silver Cuckoo Maran - Sparkles
White Plymouth Rock - Snowball (exception to naming rule)
Buff Orpington - Buffy (of course)
Plymouth Barred Rock - Piper
Australorp - Agnes
Rhode Island Red - Red (of course)
Ester Egger - Ester

I posted my adult brahmas names long ago. They are: Thor, the roo and his hens - Sunny, Brigid, Lilith, Maggie, Bluey, Dink, Jezebel, Snowy, Chloe, Girlie, Lil' Bit, Bella, and Pan.

I have finally settled on names for the baby flock. They are:

Only two of my rescue cornish Xs have names so far: Ollie the Roo and Gracie

We are trying something new here because I cant keep anything straight in my memory anymore. lol

Starting with last years hatch, all birds born in that year begin with A, this year (2010) will be B's and so on.

We have 2 main flocks at this point, our Faverolles and our Mille Fleur Cochins. Since Faverolles started in France, all Faverolle names must have a 'french flair' to them. So Antoinette must have been born in 2009.
The Mille Fleur Flock orginated here at Camelot Farm so those names are Arthurian. Last years roos are Arty and Anir.

Lord help me!
