My names I have now will be blended into the full pattern when all the chicks are named. I think having a breed based pattern will help with record keeping and give me a chance when I have identical birds.
But to start:
Speckled Sussex hen - Goldie,
Speckled Sussex Roo - Punkit (slow feathering, indomitable, nearly died from pasty butt)
Marans hen - Ma (as in mother to all)
NHR hen - BeBe
EE hens - Sandy and Sandy Blue (egg)

Names being assigned to new Chicks :
Naked Necks - Roo will be Oakley all pullets will be Annie xx such as Annie Red, ..Black, ..Brown, ..Yellow Cap, ..Dot.
Black Silkies - Roos- Kiko(mann) ,Yaki, Saki pullets- Nori, Soba, Udon (Udon and Soba and Yaki are noodle dishes Nori is the wrapper for sushi)
Delawares - Roo - Dover Pullets -Dellie xx
NHR pullets - continue with BeBe xx
Speckled Sussex Roo- Anatevka and pullets - Goldie xx Punkit has a fertility problem despite being a good gentle roo and will be retired.
Blue Andalusian - Roo- Bill pullets - Lois xx
Easter Eggers - Roo TBD Pullets TBD except for the Sandys'

I just haven't found the EE group name, Sandy was based on color and with EEs we know how constant that is.

I love the food names. I can also relate to look-alike chickens. I have 3 BCMs that I can't tell apart no matter how hard I try so they are just "The Triplets" (or "Miss T" if I'm talking to just one of them).
