Chicken names. Post them here!

Macho Man (OEGB Roo with an aditude)
Sir Ama (my Serama Roo)
Midget or Midge for short (my short and fat Serama hen)
Peepers Jr. (my Seabright hen and Peeper's only child)
Peepers Jr. the 2nd (Peepers was my first hen, so I had to keep her descendants alive!)
The Sumatras (My Sumatra Pair, a blue hen and a black Roo, hence my screen name!)
And many more un named chickens!

Some deceased that had great names:

Peepers (My first and always favorite hen. She once stole an entire peanut butter sandwich from me. She was killed while setting on her second batch of chicks. This was the batch after Peepers Jr. was born. I'll always miss the original Peepers. RIP)


Foghorn Lehorn and Miss Prissy (my bantam white leghorn pair and my favorite chickens. No descendants, their line carried a lethal gene that killed before 1 week of age.)
Mr. Fuzzybutt (an extremely fluffy Cochin Roo)
Bubble Butt (my cochin Hen
Ghetto Booty (My black cochin hen, Disclaimer: My mom named her.)

I have a BR named Gonzo and her girlfried is Camilla, she is a Redcap. (anyone out there get it?)
I have a white Americauna named Mr.T
a Rhode Island Red named Nugget
and 2 black...things named Duke and Sparkey (Fido was a close 2nd.)
Before the dog ate them we also had a
Redcap named Capt. Fancy Pants
And another unidentified black hen named poo.

I have been trying to find names for our 4 true Ameraucana pullets...Today, my three yr old grandson stated..that one is the explorer, grand.. We should name her Dora the Explorer! So, we now have Dora!

And my boys' are:
Almond
Coconut

Curry
Chili

(Can you tell they like food?)

I used some loose fitting zip ties to identify them-Thanks to some help from the BYC members!

I posted before, but have added to the flock since the last time- Roo is Flair, named after Ric Flair the Pro Wrestler who struts around stylin & profilin. Hens are Miranda-White Rock, Reba, Helen, Grace, Allicia, Alison, Hilary, Lucille, Ginger, & Ruby- Isa Browns, Miley, Demi, & Maria-White Leghorns, Monica & Mandy-Silver Laced Wyandotte, Lafawnduh, ShQueeta, Yolanda, Ree Ree, C.C., Carmen, & Tawana-Barred Rocks, Esther, Latifah, & Wanda-Black Copper Marans, & Tayllor, Rhonda, Callie, Midge, Beyonce, & Kellie- Easter Eggers.

I also use the different color zip ties, with only 6 different colors I add beads for some extra bling.

My Partridge Cochin Roo is LeRoux, or just Roo.

Silver Laced Wyandottes: Laila, Adela, Paneer, Tandoori Chicken and Vindaloo.
Eggers: Ginger, Nutmeg, Ellie, Egg Nog, and Egg Drop (stupid fox took her)
Red Sex link: Asti, Morgan (as in Captain), Jerry (Sailor), Brinley (Brinley's Gold Rum), Berry, and Reddi Whip
Black Giant: Nan
White Giants: Rumpy, and the other 4 look the same.
Buff Orps: Kitty, Sunny (aka Chicken Phone), Daisy, other 2 unamed
Speckled Sussex: Whirly, Frosty, Godiva, Mocha
Rhode Island Reds: Death Metal Chicken (that's what she sounds like!), Garnet, Shiraz, and the others look the same.
Barred Rocks: Rocky, Little Rock (aka The Professor), Noisy Rock, Jujubee, and 1 not named. I think we call 2 birds Noisy Rock. Not too original.

lol Our top roo's name is Tractor, named by my then 2 year old. He is a BO.
