1. I am hoping to pick up a Welsummer rooster this weekend that I am planning to name Chipotle
2. My Buff Orpington is Nugget, cus she looks like the color of a chicken nugget and because she is my daughters' {and mine

} pet.
3. Sumatra is my black Australorp with a smaller/blacker comb. She reminded me of a Sumatra when she was younger because of her posture. She is my second favorite hen.
4. Strawberry is the other black Australorp. She has a large red comb/wattles, thus the name.
5. Lacey is my only GLW hen
6. Luna is a SLW. She has black tail feathers
7. Silva (as in silver said in a whatchamacallit way) is the other SLW. She has speckled white/black tail feathers

I listed their names in their pecking order (as best as I can tell at least)

Black Australorp is Midnight
Black sex link (I think) is Embry

The gents that have to go
Mutt is Sir Coco (yeah he once was just Coco)
EE is Angel who we almost renamed Prince Angel until someone told me that Angel is typically a male name in Spanish speaking countries

I'm about to adopt two Orpington ladies from my FIL who will be getting a name change because Chunky and Chubby are just not very nice sounding. Helga and Olga are tops right now.

They are: Buff Orpingtons: Gert (Gertrude) and Bertie (Alberta), Barred Plymouth Rocks: Matilda and Ruth Wren Cluckington (a very prestigious bird named by my nieces); Speckled Sussex: Sweetums and Dot and finally my Double Laced Barnevelder Betty.
