chicken toys ??

My chickens found a hair band or a pony tail holder, they played keep away with that thing forever! I took it away, afraid they might try to eat it. I guess I should get them something to play with, they sure looked like they were having fun! They are entertaining !

Hahaha! Like mine keep finding these worm looking things from the trees and they think they have something great.

I don't know about the Easter egg thing they might start pecking their own eggs. I dont know just saying

I don't mean to seem totally stupid, but how does one go about hanging a cabbage on a string?

You could drill a hole mid through the cabbage and string it up or put the cabbage in a netting 'bag' and hang it up...

Also, chickens do find a toy xylophon very entertaining. They peck at it, create sound and hum along with it.

For the cabbage I took a big eye-hook (or you could use a regular hardware hook) with a screw end and screwed it into the cabbage core and then attached string to the eye end and hung it up. Very easy.

And! it would work for a lot of veggies: corn, zucchini, cukes and fruit: apples etc.
