Arabella looked up from her book, wondering if her roommate was at the door. She walked over to the door and opened it to see who was outside the room.
"Hello. I assume you're my roommate?" She questioned when she saw Jacob. Arabella silently wished her roommate was a girl because being roommates with a guy seemed improper to her, but what could you do? 

"Hi, yeah I guess. If this is room 307 I am" ( I just picked a random number)

"Yep, it's room 307, so I'm pretty darn sure we're roommates." Arabella said and chuckled. "So, we can be best friends now!" She said sarcastically, rolling her eyes humorously. She moved out of the way of the door so he could get in.
