Great for the chickens, I guess. Mine, sadly, do not seem to enjoy eating cicadas, and I absolute despise them. I checked out the map and hope I am far enough north in Iowa that I see -- and hear -- very few cicadas this year.

I absolutely LOVE cicadas!
so do my ducks!! even my geese eat them!!
Idk yet if my chickens willl like them, I didnt have chickens in 2021 when we got swarmed. (north eastern maryland - according to that map i have to wait until around 2040 for them to return)
You can freeze them to give as treats later in the year, too!
