My friends have a rooster that has just died and we worked out that it sounds like Coccidiosis and they asked me to find out what the best treatment for their other chickens to prevent them from contracting it and also they wanna know best way to sterilize their hen house

How old was the rooster? Older birds are less susceptable to cocci because they have built resistance over time. Younger birds, especially chicks are more susceptable. If he was an older roo, I'd suspect something else was going on rather than cocci.
For cocci; I recommend Corid 9.6% liquid solution. Dosage is 9.5cc's per gallon of water for 5-7 days. Change it out daily and dont add anything else to the mixture. There isnt any egg withdrawal using corid.

i just finally got my internet back so im sorry for taking so long. he is about 5 months old and he was hatched at their farm not hatchery or anything. andf thank you
