Nikki816, what if you have a lavender hen bred with a blue roo? She doesnt have the dark splashes of blue, just a very very slight tint of blue.

Ummm, correction on my part. What I had called lavender is now turning slash. Still happy with her! Big fluffy bird. I am not sure of my groups ages. I got them from the same brooder but the ages were different as well as colors. I am missing a white but have blues, splash and a black I am trying to get over a leg injury. Hope to hatch out some chicks from them next year. I tried the chicken calculator and now my head hurts.

My Cochin chicks are in the new coop! we have a fan going to keep them cooler with the windows and vents open.

My little frizzle Cochin bantam. Thinking its a pullet, but I'm still pretty new to the whole thing. She's about 6 weeks old and her comb isn't as big or red as the one I know is a roo.
