Just learned there are mottled polish.. that's new to me.

Kind of seems that way, from the white pattern on breast and toes.  Mottling also affects black leg pigments.....   Is it from stock with mottling present in it?
I really do not know.

Ok here are some pics of Chocolate Silver Laced Orpingtons Large Fowl which belong to Keith of http://www.keiths-orps.co.uk/. All birds and pics belong to him i am just sharing these pics. As you can see these birds are beautiful and i intend to import them as soon as possible and was thinking about importing this color in Cochins.

My question is what color of cochin i should use to cross with these oprs to start this project?

Silver Laced Cochins.

Silver Laced Cochins.
I agree. Chocolate laced male over silver laced hen will produce 50% female choco laced birds and 50% male that are split to chocolate. Silver laced male over chocolate female will produce 50% silver laced female and 50% silver laced male split to chocolate.

Those are so pretty!

My aunt just got a mixed bunch of birds from someone and posted pics on Facebook. Looks like there's a Chocolate Laced in there! Aren't those pretty dang rare still? What are the odds of her getting one from a backyard mixed flock? Could it be another genetic possibility I'm not aware of? Or maybe sun-bleaching on a standard silver laced?
