In the Brooder
Hello everyone, I am still a newbie when it comes to chickens. I have three barred rock bantums that are 1 year old, I have had them since they were 8 weeks old. They lay about 3 eggs a week a piece normally. I just moved them into a bigger coop that we built and added 7 new chickens over the last couple months(2-13 week old Lavender Orpingtons, 2-18 week old GLW) and inside the run we have their old smaller coop with 3-10 week old Buff Brahmas(they are to young, so they stay separated). All of them stay with their own "kind". Is this normal? And since my BRB are laying but I will get now 1 egg every 5 days or so. Is this due to the stress of new feathered friends or is this due to the weather change? Or new coop, or all of it? Sorry lots of questions....
