Going through my hard drive looking for a certain pic and stumbled on this one... Sharing because I think it's cool, not acceptable for entry because they're not domesticated fowl.

We often have Canada geese in the riparian area, every once in a while a heron or crane will stop by. These geese were there first, and swam from the other side of the pond to check out the interloper. No conflict, they just swam up to her/him and paddled about in front of it for a little while & swam back to the other side..

Jake at mid-gobble. I was trying for full silhouette, but there's too much light in that bay. *However*, if I lean back just a bit and change my angle of view...
