Coop design question - space

like someone pointed out to me recently, stacking chickens means they poop on each other which is less desirable but if you place one bar diagonally then another one can go diagonally above that one, the chickens can then hop from the top bar to the lower bar and down which would otherwise not give them the required landing space and there will only be one poop zone right in the center of the lower bar so for smaller coops using diagonal bars to gain space height wise is a good idea imo, in a walk in coop diagonal bars would just get in the way.
