Finally got our coop about finish... next i need to do is add awnings over the windows and electric. We turned our broken side of play set into one. Nice that its tall enough for me to stand in it. Ive made one of the pvc pipe holders for them to eat out of and have a hanging 4 gal cup o water for them to have inside the coop as well so i dont have to worry about anything outside in the winter. I added a rubber floor for easy clean up, cut the sides of the milk crates.... cut an old computer mat to fit inside of the milk crates to keep bedding and straw in place for their nesting boxes. they have ventilation on the peek of roof and under roof hangover plus the windows on each side that im going to add the awning over them. They are going to be free range so i figured if i feel like doing a run later i can always add it on a side with a smaller door. Not sure what order these pics are going to come in but they are from start to finish. Anyone have any suggestions? First time being a chicken owner. New to all this! :)

Good job upcycling :) Not sure I saw roosting bars inside the coop. And i could not tell if you had hardware cloth covering the windows to keep predators out. Good on you, great imagination and well done.

That is pretty cool. Do you have dimensions? I see 9 nest boxes. Not sure you will need that many. I have 3 for 7 hens and they all prefer one. You might consider raising them enough to give additional floor space. But, you would want them below the roosts. Also you mention water in the coop. If you will have an enclosed run, leaving the water outside will provide additional space and eliminate a source of excess moisture.
