as for live birds,

4 white silkie chicks
1 black silkie cockerel
2 birchen cochin bantam chicks
4 pairs of capuchine pigeons (and one lone capuchine pigeon)
2 cornish rock crosses (a pullet and a cockerel)
2 mallard ducks (a pair)
2 chocolate call ducks (a pair)
2 call ducklings
30-40 coturnix quail (dont ask i dont nkow for sure anymore)

well if you have 40 quail thats like almost 30 quail eggs a day thats ridiculous .. and yes i realy have appreciated the thread it topped off my decision to get quail !! .. stil dont have them though hopefully soon

LOL i just saw this post now

well I get almost 20 eggs a day right now (sometimes a lil more or a little less depending on the weather) from my coturnix.


All my other birds are too young to lay yet

I sell and hatch most of my quail

You are my quail hero! I got some eggs from a fellow BYC'er as my first hatching experiment and I am SO glad I found all this info!
