Crockpot Custard?

seems that you can either do a large batch OR you can make it in the crock pot. you can’t do both though.

if oven space is a concern, just cook it the night before.

I might have to -- though I hate to have to cook on Christmas Eve because we're at church all day and are usually really tired by the time we're home and have had dinner.

I'll have to make 2 batches even of this larger recipe.
 
2 cans sweetened condensed milk
6 oz cream cheese, softened
4 egg yolks+ 6 whole eggs
vanilla, salt
2 1/2 cups milk

can be doubled, works best with a water bath but the low heat of the crock pot shouldn't hurt. 350 for 90 minutes or 3 hours at 175 or whatever the crock pot can do. might be best to butter the crock.
