Cuckoo Marans laying age

I have some Cuckoo marans pullets past 5 months old. Just wanting to know if anyone knew when they typically start laying. Thanks, Perry..

I was wondering the same thing. Mine is around 5 months and we have not gotten an egg. I'm positive it's a female-as our roo has shown interest in her.

Not meaning to hijack........BUT..........

On average how many eggs do they lay a year? The breed index just says medium layer.

I confess, I want those pretty dark eggs.

I have three and only one is laying so far at 27 weeks....and the egg is only a 3 on the Maran color scale.
