Her age in weeks? A couple weeks can make a big difference, and 3 months old could technically mean 12 weeks or 15 weeks. (And congratulations on the birth of your son!!)

This egg is still a mystery! When we ate it, I couldn't help noticing (again) that it was different in shape and slightly different in color, and also the inside of the shell was a different color than our leghorn lays. I am pretty sure she didn't lay it. But we also haven't seen any more like it, and it would be really early, so I don't think it was one of the white faced black Spanish. So is it possible that another egg from another chicken didn't get its color for some reason?

That does happen occasionally, so certainly possible.
