Great photo to show peoples, that chickens can be great pets, and even better than those small birds like canary birds in cages.

RE: Great Pets! Oddly, I was not aware of chickens becoming one's pets until my girls started following me all over the place. When they exit from the coop, they stand about waiting for a gentle squeeze on their back side. They fluff their wings and run off. At Dusk, my gals come to the back door and peck on the glass door pane, telling me they are there and awaiting a treat. I take the bag of left over bread and lettuce, and they follow me to the coop, enter as I toss the goodies into the pen floor.
