Dark Egg Breeds Thread

Pic from yesterday of blue marans eggs. I have them next to some cacao pods I ordered. They are full of cacao beans that I now have planted to grow into chocolate trees

The German Welsummer Bantams, the breeders are working on it.

The Dutch Welsummer Bantams, imported not long ago, has been established and they said to keep the darkest eggs and keep getting to it for each generation, hopefully it would be as dark or terra cotta as our LF Welsummers.
