Developing bearded silkies

Hi everyone and Merry X'mas. Now been thinking for a while and since I'm new to this group thought what a brilliant place to ask this question. Now how are bearded silkies developed? There's a small number of bearded silkies in NZ and have always wondered how they got established over here. Are they a mix of a siljie with a houdan, Polish or aruacana?

Hi there and
Bearded silkies are just another type of silkies.
There are bearded and non bearded types.
So there is no cross breeding.
Just different types of the Same breed.
