I am sooo sorry... what a heartbreak for you, but think of the love and comfort she felt with you two.

Such a shame, too. The sweet little thing was alert and bright eyed and gorgeous. It was just so sad watching her flail around and try to get to food and water and be alone on top of all that. I understand that most situations like that can't be fixed, but we wanted to give her every chance.
