W/O going back to look, doesn't your's have a plastic body? I prefer cork (if it's still available); doesn't get the body uncomfortably warm, as I recall.

Yeah, i bought a cheap one you can also use to solder, but it already cracked. My husband used to have a cork one, but he said it did get hot. I am looking into better quality with a good variety of tips.

Well at least i have enough padding that i don't get hurt. Husband is a pretty good keeper, he even cooks!
