Does any one else Feed dog and cat food?

Allergic to cats and my dog food is grain free so basically they'd be eating meat meat meat and that's just wrong in my book plus I can barely feed my pig of a Great Dane on the expensive stuff so I'm not going to waste it on my chickens when their going to be getting just as good or better stuff for themselves. College student starting her mini urban farm here

My husband calls the cats every afternoon when he gives them "kitty food" which is their second can of cat food.

The chickens come running when they hear him calling (and he's inside!) because they know he will give them the leftovers from the morning's can.

They LOVE it and will try to sneak in the house to get the fresh stuff.

When it was super cold this winter we would give them their own can some days. It's their favorite treat.
