Dog Questions!!!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone! I've had dogs when growing up (and I took care of them), but this is MY first dog. My boyfriend has a german shepherd, and my neighbor (who's gone a lot and asks me to care for her dogs) has a border collie and an australian shepherd.

I think i'm going to go with an australian shepherd. I've been researching the breed for about a year and it sounds like it would be perfect for me.
