Yeah we are looking into an pump, but for now we are just breaking the ice. What kind do you use? The pond is well over 1500 ft from the road and there are trees blocking them so I think they will do just fine, plus there are some pens and coops blocking the way.

Are they supposed to be brown like that....i think they look beautiful with that color i just thought mute swans were all white?

Yes, the young swans will molt those colored feathers out and be beautiful white swans.

I have a swan Question Where do they sleep? On the pond or on land? My grandma has Black Swans and is trying to decide what to do (She has alot of land predators)
