Love the way you made the cardboard "hatching board" I may try that, I just let mine hatch out of the egg cups last time. Here are the pics. My phone just glitched when I tried to download them the first time then kept saying “no photos/videos”. Omg, I thought I accidentally deleted everything! Phew. Anyhow, here’s how I did it... and the outcome.

I started getting worried at the last second, and wanted to make sure I could see where they pipped, (1 pipped the small end and one pipped in the middle.). plus, I wasn’t able to tell if they were rockin and rollin while they were in the cups. I literally transferred them on hatch day. I now have one egg due tomorrow and 7 more eggs on day 8. I have two incubators going. I start them the first week in my gqf hovabator and then transfer them to my Brinsea. Since I have staggered hatches.Love the way you made the cardboard "hatching board" I may try that, I just let mine hatch out of the egg cups last time.
So, how is the hatch going?I did a quick check this morning since I had to open up to wet the sponges anyway. We have 1 that's close to internally pipping. I will be opening the lid anymore though. Any water added will be added from outside.
2 internal pips. One other still moving. I had 3 with the weird veining and those 3 are no longer moving so I think they died. Hoping tomorrow we'll have chicks. Not sure how long after internal pip they usually hatch. So, how is the hatch going?
I believe it takes about 24 hours from internal PIP to external PIP and then another 12 to 24 hours from external PIP to unzipping!2 internal pips. One other still moving.
