We have Saxony and Silver Appleyard ducks that are 13 weeks old right now and are very large. We can tell the males from the females by their feather coloring but the drakes do not have their full male color yet. The county fair is in two weeks and my kids really want to take a couple ducks to the fair to show. It would be open show, our local 4-H group is more of a family 4-H and if you don’t belong to one of the two families they make it difficult for you so my kids are no longer involved.
Would there be any problem taking them to the fair? Maybe just the females?

My show quaility silkie chickens are all either broody or raising babies so the only other (potential) show quality bird I have are the ducks. I have never done this before.

Seems a little young but heck give it try

If you can, take one of each, I would. That is a shame about your 4-H. It is a wonderful program. We were involved for 12 yrs. My girls belong to multiple clubs for the different animals they showed. Maybe you should think about starting your own club. I'm sure there are other kids that might be interested in joining. Good luck.
