Ducks are Messy and now they are a problem....

I hatched 4 Rouen ducks for a friend of mine because she wanted ducks with her chickens. The unfortunately her husband has had enough of all the animals she has been getting and draws the line at these. I warned them that ducks are messy but they didn't realize the extent of it. So now they want to regime them. They are about 8-9 weeks old. Does anyone know if someone could take them as pets? She doesn't want them to go to a home for meat.

There's a forum on here for rehoming birds, you pick your area and can make a post. People seem to have very good luck with it.
