My eggs are going into lockdown, day after tomorrow. Wish me luck, I hope I get a good hatch.

What does lock down mean? Sorry, I've never hatched. I've always bought mine chicks as day old.

That's ok you aren't alone. Lockdown is when you stop turning the eggs, so the chicks can position themselves for hatching.
