Hello everyone!

A while back you all voted Salty Pullet was really a Salty Dog Roo. Does the BYC ruling still stand?

This sneaky chicken will be 5 (maybe 6) months old. No crowing, but I have bajillion other roos & only 2 dominant crowers.

I would say pullet but I am new so could be wrong but you would think by this age he would be crowing and have bigger saddle feathers. I would start watching for an egg.

Looks EE? If so, i'd say pullet for sure because of the minimal comb at this age. Seems rather common for the EE girls to have a fairly upright stance.

This is one of my Aloha Project birds. At this point in the program, some of them look really gamey, some really EE, and some just stinkin' weird. I have has some pullets with rooey feathers, but this one keeps throwing me for a loop.

The front half looks pullet; the back half looks roo. I'm no help at all, I know.

I'll say roo due to the saddle feathers on the back end hanging down.

I have to say pullet - at this point, it would DEFINITELY have a red comb if it was a roo.
