Hi there. I have had a rough start to the summer (new rescue dog problems, plus issues with my flock) and now I have, what I believe to be, 3 cases of early bumblefoot (see attached photos). I used to do daily feet checks but with the new dog, the chickens have taken a back door to everything.
I have already done bumblefoot surgery on the yellow-legged chicken almost 2 years ago, but with three cases now, I don’t think I’ll be able to swing surgery three times.
Are Tri-Cide Neo soaks still effective at killing or curing the bumblefoot infection? All three chickens are acting totally fine, no limping, etc. I’ve checked their roosts and outdoor log areas and everything is smooth as far as I can tell, so I’m not sure what they are cutting/injuring their feet on.
Let me know about the Tri-Cide Neo powder or if there are other non-surgical options I can do on multiple feet. Thank you!
