Easter Egger not laying eggs

I have 2 pullets that I got in February, they were two days old.

One started laying eggs on July 27th, the other one has not started laying eggs yet. Should I be concerned?

Feel her pelvic points on each side of the vent.If you can fit two fingers between them, she should be laying very soon. If the knobs are still close together, it may be a while longer.

How do you know the 2nd one is not laying?

I wouldn't be concerned. Some just take longer. A very bright red comb is a good indicator that she's close.

For a EE I do think it's a little odd. I have a Feb. Barnevelder that just started laying which is typical for that breed, but all others that I have from Feb started laying in July. What are you feeding? Can you post a pic.... ?

Update. she layed a tiny egg september 1st. I ate it....But she did not lay one today...Is this normal?

It's normal for a bird to not lay every day. And some lay on a more consistent schedule than others.
