This is my first time with chickens. I got 6 EE for mothers day, which makes them about 12 weeks old. I think they are all girls. What do you think. The picture with the 3 brown are Hillary in front, next is Eleanor, and Mary third. The second picture is Dolly, third picture is Jackie, and last is Martha. My first ladies!

I thought so, haven't heard crowing. They seem to get along well, no fighting. I can't even tell if they have set uplans a pecking order yet. The run is 10 x 12. The final coop is under construction and will be 8 x 10

So we have 7 chicks about 3 1/2 weeks old. 2 are EEs. All are suppose to be pullets... but I'm wondering about this one that we named Sassy because of how much sass s/he has... thoughts?

This is our other EE Watson. She seems to look like a pullet. All brown/ black.

I'm not sure who is laying the light tan/brown egg (bottom of my hand). Is there anyway this could be my EE hen? Do they ever lay brownish eggs?

My Barred rock just started laying, and her eggs are that light brown color. ..although, they do seem to be darkening... lol my Sexlinks are light to though.
