Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

I have a barnyard mix Easter Egger - is this a cockerel? I'm thinking yes because of the red on the shoulders and the very pink comb. He/she is 7 weeks old.

Sound about right! I was looking at some other pics, and the dark red on your girls isn't really the rooster red color, which looks almost maroon. Back on the "other" sexing thread ;) there was a little bantam cochin cockerel a few posts before yours, and you can see the color on his wings is more reddish, while your pullets are more brownish. It's hard to tell sometimes without something to compare.

19 weeks old and they're still girls! Ainsley's got a nice pattern (lacing?) on her back now, and Amelia is mostly red with a little columbian collar and some very light speckled bars near her tail.

These photos aren't the greatest (taken with my phone rather than my camera, bright sun and shadows) but you can see them ok.

So Sass is about 7 weeks... any thoughts? Roo or pullet?

1 of my EEs and 3 of my brown leghorns are getting bullied I think! I have a flock of 10! All injuries are on lower back as pictured! This poor girl is in the worst shape! Is it bullying? What should I do?
