Score of the century today! My brother-in-law called to tell me his boss gave the ok for us to cleanup a jobsite. $1200 of new waterproof chipboard, hardiplank siding, 2x4s, and 2x6s!!!!!! All for the cost of gas to haul it home!!!!!!

My chickens are going to have a better house than I live in :rofl

Last year was our first year with chickens, too. This is also our first year with ducks. We bought five. Two Khaki Campbells and three Cayugas. I just love them. I wish I got more

I just registered as a member this morning and so happy to have found this - I'd love to be a part of the Eastern Washington group! I live in Spokane Valley. We started with 8 chickens last year and this week added 2 baby Swedish ducks to our family!

I've been hatching chicks every week since last month. I post all my "cull" babies on craigslist if anyone is interested.

Well according to my Honey, as of last night, we have one chick hatched out in our coop. Momma hen has been off her nest so Im not sure if I will have anymore hatch. Im gonna check later today after the sun comes up. Pictures to come soon!!!!
