Egg whites like cottage cheese

My daughter told me today the boiled egg she had was tasteless and the egg white was like cottage cheese. The chicken that laid it is only young. Is this normal?

Is this the first time she's had a hard boiled fresh egg? When I first had mine hard boiled, there is a very different texture. They are not rubbery, like store bought eggs.

Yes it is, she even said the white wasn't rubbery

Then that is normal. They taste better and have flavor!
