Eider & Other Sea Ducks?

I have always been found of sea ducks and was wondering where people in the US are able to find them for sale. I am in the process of building an aviary tailored to them (deep & rocky). I found some in the UK but would rather not have to deal with the importation process if possible

Have you kept them before or other similar species? They're kind of special ducks, and have lots of different needs than most other ducks. There are a number of people breeding them in the US, but you won't be able to find any for sale until fall. I usually contact breeders in July or so to see what all they raised and will have for sale. That's early enough you should be able to get put on a list. They're pretty pricey though.

They are not good for beginners. Their microbial tolerance is non existent

Sea ducks are tough to find and they are expensive. I have been trying to get a pair of Old Squaw for a couple years. I do have a few divers. My divers are in this video.
